Join to apply for the Sourcing Coordinator: Packaging role at Tiger Brands . You will provide overall support to the category team while expanding your procurement experience and technical skills for a future career in sourcing. You will help administer RFX processes and system contracts, manage supply queries from sites, and maintain key category data (approved vendor listings, contracts, BEE data, etc.). You will gain a detailed understanding of your commodity’s characteristics and Tiger Brands’ business needs to identify new procurement value opportunities in line with the Commodity Strategy. What You Will Do Conduct selected Tiger Brands RFQs under guidance from the Category Manager. Complete commodity ZBM’s (manual and Oracle) and update system contracts/quotations. Maintain key category data in procurement databases (specifications, MOQ’s, lead times, cover positions, etc.) and track savings and contracts. Own the vendor listing for the commodity by maintaining vendor portal key data: MRP supplier data, AVL (supplier classification, BEE status, contract status, supplier certifications and material pricing data). Liaise with manufacturing sites to collect supplier performance data and compile supplier service level reports. Maintain and resolve system pricing queries from sites, including pricing of new items. Develop Supplier Service Level reports. What You Will Bring To The Table Core knowledge: Operational procurement, procurement systems, cost management & ZBB. Key foundational competencies: Academic – analytical skill, problem solving, applied science and technology. Leadership: Owning it, driving long‑term results, staying a step ahead. Personal Effectiveness: Effective communication, interpersonal skills, integrity, creativity, continuous learning. Experience: Function – 3+ years experience in procurement and sourcing within FMCG. Industry: FMCG. Relevant degree.
