Procurement Administrator

Mammoth Technologies is looking for a Procurement Administrator to assist with the Stores Department at our Witbank Branch. The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services. Responsibilities Process procurement requests from internal departments and manage the end‑to‑end procurement process. Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely receipt of goods and services. Maintain regular communication with suppliers to address issues regarding quality, pricing, or delivery. Maintain an organised and up‑to‑date procurement filing system, including purchase orders, supplier contracts and communication for easy retrieval during audits or reporting. Review and verify the accuracy of procurement documents before submission for approval to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any discrepancies related to orders. Assess inventory levels regularly to ensure sufficient stock for operational needs and reorder items before stock runs low. Manage minimum and maximum stock levels of consumables. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or administrative roles within the manufacturing industry. Experience with Sage Evolution is advantageous. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and ERP systems. Knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, documentation and reporting standards. Technical knowledge of manufacturing materials and consumables. Typing speed of WPM (enter actual value if available). Communication skills, both verbally and in writing, at a high level; ability to review documents meticulously. Ability to manage multiple procurement requests simultaneously and communicate clearly with team members, suppliers, and management at all organizational levels.
