Job Summary The role involves monitoring and analyzing economic, regulatory, technological, and other relevant variables to understand the Manufacturing Sector. The analyst will collate data on customer and economic trends to identify opportunities for market share growth and support the development of sector strategies. Job Description Accountability: Business Management Promote collaboration among all departments supporting the Manufacturing sector (e.g., Communications, Compliance, Credit, Customer, Distribution, Finance, Fraud, IT, Marketing, MI, Pricing, Product, Risk). Monitor legislative changes impacting the sector and assess their effects on strategy and customers. Compile monthly reports on industry developments and progress. Analyze performance metrics to inform reviews and measure market share growth. Provide trend analysis and identify growth opportunities across various sectors and regions. Accountability: Sector Intelligence and Support Research and report on key sector variables, trends, and outlooks. Support credit teams with research and feasibility assessments for customer deals. Assist in building financial models and assessing deal feasibility. Maintain data to support sector strategy planning. Assess market requirements for new products or services and identify potential markets. Develop understanding of customer needs and align sector offerings accordingly. Research and propose innovative solutions through industry engagement and external stakeholder interaction. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on industry trends. Identify business opportunities and cross-sell potential through client research. Participate in knowledge sharing forums and communities of practice. Accountability: Stakeholder Relationships Establish service level agreements with support units. Support internal and external stakeholders. Assist in hosting events to enhance the sector's brand and relationships. Education Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies are required.
