Distribution Manager

What You'll Do Overseeing distribution and inventory control within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ensuring truck loading efficiency , damage prevention , and on-time, in-full deliveries . Managing 3PL carriers (Trucks, Interlinks, Tautliners) and ensure load optimization. Driving warehouse throughput , improve labour utilization , and uphold health & safety compliance . Applying expertise in space utilization, load balancing, and weight distribution for bulky / heavy freight. Training and guiding teams on manual handling , load restraint , and safe packing techniques to protect goods in transit. Managing a large staff compliment, drive efficiencies and effective use of human resources, equipment and ensuring adherence to processes. Operating under strict health and safety protocols, maintenance there-of and fostering a productive, positive culture. What You'll Need 7–10 years' experience in distribution and inventory control , preferably in furniture or bulky freight. Relevant degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Proven success in optimizing load efficiency and delivery performance . Strong understanding of manual handling, lifting techniques, load restraint regulations , and vehicle weight limits . Experience managing high-volume warehouse environments . Results-driven with a sharp focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety . What's In It For You?
