We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Duty Manager to join our dynamic team in Randburg, South Africa. As a Duty Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction Lead and motivate team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care Manage financial transactions, including cash handling, billing, and daily reports Coordinate interdepartmental communication to maintain excellent guest service Implement and enforce health, safety, and security procedures during your shift Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards Assist in training and developing staff to enhance their skills and performance Make critical decisions during emergencies or unexpected situations Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations Qualifications Proven experience in a duty management role, preferably in the hospitality industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team Excellent problem-solving abilities and a guest-first mindset Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in hotel management software and financial reporting In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure Crisis management skills to handle unexpected situations effectively Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred (not required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
