Alligator Manufacturing is a major supplier of branded products and clothing to both corporates and retailers. We are leaders in design, manufacturing and sourcing, supplying uniforms and merchandise to clients throughout Africa. Key Responsibilities: Maintain good housekeeping in the dispatch and receiving area. Ensure that all orders and stock in the dispatch area are correctly labelled & stored in the correct location. Manage the shipping of orders for delivery purposes. Ensure stock received from receiving and warehouse is correct as per the transfer document. Manage and oversee all aspects of staging, packaging and dispatch of orders. Dispatch orders efficiently. Ensure that security procedures are followed. Ensure that products are dispatched correctly, timeously and that all procedures are followed. Plan daily deliveries in the most efficient manner possible to reduce costs and ensure no delays. Where possible ensure that vehicles are pre‑loaded the day before for vehicles to leave early as possible. Ensure that the goods that are loaded onto the company vehicle are packed in the prescribed manner to minimize the risk of damage to company or customer's property. Track vehicles to ensure that planned routes are followed. Ensure branch transfers are dispatched and that procedures are followed. Ensure that the day‑to‑day collections and deliveries are done. Manage the dispatch staff to ensure that the workload is performed timeously. Ensure that the delivery vehicles are well maintained (servicing and cleanliness) by the drivers. Ensure that all items on the sales order are invoiced correctly (price and quantities). Link any waybills to the correct invoice. Write out manual delivery notes, when necessary. Generate system delivery notes and invoices. Process stock transfers on the system. Reconcile the manual delivery notebook on a weekly basis. Ensure that the driver log sheets are filed in the correct manner. Ensure that all dispatch related administration is well managed and that all relevant documentation is returned and filed (delivery notes / waybills etc.). Ensure that daily / weekly deliveries are scheduled per driver. Ensure that all documents for items received is issued to the receiving coordinator. Essential Requirements: Grade 12 Previous supervisory experience is essential. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP / Pastel / Accpac experience or similar is essential. Previous invoicing experience The ability to work in a pressurized environment. An understanding and passion for customer service. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Willing to go the extra mile Good communication skills, both verbal and written Fully bilingual in English & Afrikaans.
