Introduction Pepkor Lifestyle is looking for a motivated and self-driven Web Content Administrator to join our dynamic team in the Digital Department. This individual will be required to provide customers with an excellent online shopping experience by enriching product information and images for eCommerce platforms. As a Web Content Administrator at Pepkor Lifestyle, you will be responsible for the management and administration of our website's content, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our brand identity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimise our online presence. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality web content. Description Enrich and prepare products for publication on the eCommerce platform Ensure that images are transformed and optimised for use on the eCommerce platform Deal with customers in a customer-centric manner Effective self-management and teamwork Minimum Requirements Grade 12 1 – 2 years relevant Magento experience Relevant retail exposure Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., System Software, Web Development, or related). Proven experience in web content management or a related role. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and website administration tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with SEO best practices and tools. Graphic design skills or experience with image and video editing tools. Familiarity with web analytics and data-driven decision-making. Knowledge of UX and UI principles. Basic understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines. Certifications in web content management or related fields. Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to branding guidelines. Collaborate with various teams to gather, create, and review web content. Perform daily content audits to identify and rectify outdated or irrelevant information. Optimize web content for search engines (SEO) and ensure high visibility on search results. Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues related to web content. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for web content management. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web content. Stay updated on web design and content management trends. Support the development of new web content and digital projects.
