About The Position Department: Sales and Delivery Team – Empower Industry: Information Technology & Services, Computer Software, Management Consulting. Experience Range: 4+ years. Basic Qualification: Masters/Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent. Exusia, a cutting‑edge digital transformation company, is looking for Senior Data Analysts who will work for our Banking & Financial Services clients focused on Data Engineering & Data Analytics projects. What’s the Role? Full‑time position working with Exusia’s global clients (Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia) to deliver data‑driven solutions by performing business and data analysis, data modelling, data mapping, and translating functional requirements into technical specifications. Work with Client Product Owners & Business SMEs, Exusia Solution Architects, and Senior Application Designers/Developers. Responsibilities Create logical and conceptual data models for business and functional users. Understand ER and dimensional modeling techniques like star, snowflake, or constellation. Implement star schema and relational (normalized, including 3NF) models and physical data models for a variety of RDBMS and cloud‑hosted databases. Capture data mapping, data transformation, and business rules logic using source‑to‑target mapping templates. Perform data profiling and cleaning, validation, and testing to certify data. Analyze requirements and produce technical specifications, source‑to‑target mapping, data and data models. Interpret data, analyze results, and prepare data analysis reports. Collect, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information to project team & business stakeholders. Manage changing priorities during the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 4 years experience as a Data Analyst and Data Modeler. Master of Science (preferably in Computer and Information Sciences or Business Information Technology) or equivalent engineering degree. Experience working in an agile software delivery model. Prior data modeling experience, preferably for DWH/Data marts. Strong SQL or Python skills for data analysis and profiling. Hands‑on experience with data modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio, InfoSphere Data Architect (IDA). Hands‑on exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases and ability to write pseudo‑code for ETL requirements. Reporting/Visualization tool experience (e.g., Power BI). Azure certification relevant for Data Engineering/Analytics. Experience and knowledge of one or more domains within Banking and Financial Services. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Exposure to scrum master or product owner role. Knowledge of data processing/ETL using Ab Initio / SAS / ADF / Azure Databricks. Exposure to one or more Cloud platforms – AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform. Experience with Data Governance projects including metadata management, data dictionary, data glossary, data lineage, and data quality aspects.
