Overview Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join their mining company based in Gauteng. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act Environmental Management Act and other applicable legislation. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections and audits across mining operations. Develop, implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety management systems. Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses and compile detailed reports with corrective actions. Facilitate safety inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing HSE training for employees and contractors. Promote a strong safety culture by driving awareness campaigns and employee engagement initiatives. Monitor and manage environmental aspects including waste management, pollution prevention and rehabilitation measures.
