We desire an engineer with 3 years minimum experience in implementing industrial automation solutions. This position will be based in Gauteng(Johannesburg or Pretoria). You will work with a team of experienced and skilled automation engineers. Our ideal candidate will be able to show experience in executing industrial automation solutions. Furthermore, the capability to design systems and project management expertise will be highly beneficial.We offer a market related salary including an incentive, travel allowance, cell phone and business laptop.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Industrial control engineering functions. PLC programming and SCADA development. Factory acceptance testing and commissioning. Project management. Support / breakdown assistance on site. Desired skills & knowledge : Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley RS Logix Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7. Knowledge of PLC's, SCADA, SQL, MS Windows & MS Server. Knowledge of Ethernet network configurations.Additional requirements : Tertiary engineering education. Years experience in implementing industrial automation and process control solutions. Be motivated and ambitious. Be willing to work long hours as and when required. Be willing to travel and work away from home. You have attention to detail. A valid driver's license.
