The primary mission of the Data Analyst is to be the catalyst for data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is crucial in assisting with the development and maintenance of a robust data platform to service both client needs and internal business operations. The Analyst will focus on transforming raw data into actionable insights by generating key reports, managing data projects and accurately tracking critical business metrics. OBJECTIVES (main duties and responsibilities) Own the full internal reporting lifecycle by gathering and translating ambiguous business requirements from key stakeholders (Product, Operations, Leadership) into clear, structured analytical deliverables. Define, implement, and track internal feature success metrics (KPIs) and business health indicators. Design, develop, and maintain automated, scalable reporting dashboards and datavisualization assets using front-end BI tools (PowerBI, Metabase etc.) Design, build, and maintain, reusable data transformation models using dbt (data build tool), ensuring data governance, quality, and scalability from raw source to final reporting layers. Identify, integrate, and effectively combine proprietary AG1 platform data with relevant external data sources to enrich datasets and provide holistic business intelligence. Distill complex workflows into clear, compelling, and actionable insights that directly influence product roadmaps, data warehousing requirements and strategic business decisions. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Formal Qualifications Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration (BBA) or information systems. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, preferably Power BI or Metabase. Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write efficient and optimized queries. Thorough understanding of ETL/ELT principles and hands‑on experience with tools such as dbt (Data Build Tool). Sound knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with technologies such as Snowflake or ClickHouse. Proficient in Python for data manipulation, automation, and contributing to a central codebase. Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and familiarity with agile software development methodologies. Excellent problem‑solving and organizational abilities, with a structured and analytical approach to work. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to accuracy and data integrity. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in all deliverables.
