Housekeeping Department: Environmental Services Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time Positions Available Reports To: Environmental Services Manager Location: Full Time, George Regional Hospital; Part Time, Community Surgical Center Position Summary: Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff throughout the facility. This role plays a vital part in ensuring infection control standards are met and that all areas of the hospital reflect the highest level of cleanliness and care. Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing as needed Collect and dispose of trash and linen according to hospital procedures Restock supplies in designated areas Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures Report maintenance or safety concerns promptlyProvide friendly, courteous service to patients and staff Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus) Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and reliability Excellent communication and teamwork skills Benefits (Full-Time): Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and holiday pay #J-18808-Ljbffr
