Efficiency Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd Registration No. 2022/ /07 Job Advert Duties & Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain refractory linings in furnaces, kilns, ladles, and other high-temperature equipment. Mix, cut, and shape refractory materials such as firebricks, castable, and insulation materials. Read and interpret refractory drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation. Apply refractory materials using correct bonding agents and installation techniques. Inspect and remove worn or damaged refractory linings. Perform patching, gunning, and casting work as required. Operate power tools, hand tools, and lifting equipment safely. Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all safety standards on site. Minimum Requirements National Senior Certificate (Matric). Minimum 35 years experience as a Refractory Mason in a Metal, Foundry, or Engineering environment. Red Seal as a Refractory Mason or Bricklayer essential 25 tons Overhead Crane Licence Forklift Licence Proven experience with furnace relining, bricklaying, and castable installation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Sasol or heavy industrial site experience will be an advantage. Must be a local candidate.
