We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill a role that encompasses SQL development, report writing, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data pipelines, developing and optimizing SQL queries, building reports and dashboards, and supporting the business with actionable data insights. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional with a solid foundation in SQL, data architecture, and BI tools. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data models, data warehouses, and BI solutions including reports and dashboards. Build and maintain ETL processes to consolidate data from a variety of structured and unstructured sources. Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and regular maintenance. Develop and execute complex SQL queries to support analytics and reporting requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to deliver integrated data solutions. Continuously improve reporting frameworks and ensure data reliability and accessibility. Oversee database administration tasks, maintaining high standards of data quality, availability, and security. Implement and manage disaster recovery and high-availability solutions such as replication, clustering, and failover systems. Core Requirements Proven experience designing and developing data warehouse solutions. Strong analytical background with the ability to interpret business needs through data. Deep understanding of database technologies, OLAP concepts, and ETL frameworks. Ability to present insights effectively using data visualization techniques. Experience working with diverse data sources including flat files and APIs. Capable of operating independently within established processes and guidelines. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Technical Skills Proficient in SQL Server Expertise with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, DAX, T-SQL Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS Solid understanding of database administration practices Exposure to cloud-based platforms such as Azure SQL or AWS RDS is a plus Familiarity with data environments in the retail or FMCG sectors is an advantage Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design for performance, scalability, and availability A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
