POSITION INFO: They’re looking for a Solar Project Engineer to lead and support the engineering design, execution, and commissioning of UTILITY-scale Solar PK & BESS projects (commercial, industrial, agriculture and utility scale). If you’re passionate about renewable energy and thrive on solving complex engineering challenges, then we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Design and optimize solar PV systems using tools like PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD Perform technical feasibility studies and yield analysis Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring layouts, and construction drawings Support procurement and construction teams with technical input Ensure compliance with applicable standards (NRS, IEC, and SANS) Monitor project timelines, risks, and deliverables Collaborate with clients, EPCs, and utility stakeholders during all project phases Requirements: Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering 3–5 years' experience in solar PV project design or engineering Proficient in PV design software (PVsyst, AutoCAD, etc.) Knowledge of grid-tied and hybrid systems Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license (advantageous for site visits) Why Join Us?: Work on impactful clean energy projects Collaborative and growth-oriented culture Career advancement and training opportunities Competitive remuneration package We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
