Senior Onboarding Analyst Ebury Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa – Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week. Role Purpose The Analyst is responsible for conducting onboarding reviews in line with current policy to ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are fulfilled. You will work closely with the sales team to provide a smooth onboarding experience while ensuring that our legal and compliance requirements are met. What You’ll Do Analyse customer relationships, documentation, activity patterns, and transactions to detect potential suspicious activity. Comply with relevant legislative, regulatory standards, and internal processes. Identify clients posing higher risk due to red flags or other high‑risk triggers. Resolve day‑to‑day issues arising during the CDD process and Escalate complex challenges via the appropriate channel. Complete allocated tasks with focus and in a timely manner. Communicate task status to colleagues, supervisors, and managers, escalating problems swiftly as needed. Manage caseload throughout the end‑to‑end process in a timely manner. What You’ll Need University degree. 1–3 years of experience in a KYC role. Fluency in English (additional languages a plus). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail. Proficiency in office software such as MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Suite, and related applications. Ability to thrive in a target‑driven operational environment and manage performance and targets in a fast‑paced, pressured setting.
