About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client’s dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, and overseeing accounting processes from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Manage junior staff and review their work Prepare Annual Financial Statements and Management Accounts for all entity types Handle full bookkeeping function from cashbook to trial balance Reconcile customers, suppliers and general ledger accounts Calculate and submit VAT, EMP, and Workmans Compensation Prepare and submit tax returns for companies, CCs, individuals and trusts Handle provisional tax and SARS correspondence including VAT audits Manage CIPC annual returns and company registrations Liaise directly with clients ensuring strong relationships and quality service delivery Core Competencies Self‑driven with strong time management skills Excellent communication (English & Afrikaans) High attention to detail, responsibility and accountability Professional integrity and reliability Neat, organised and client‑focused Additional Information Working hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday) Own vehicle required; occasional travel may be necessary Laptop and required software provided How to Apply If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take the next step in your accounting career, apply now via our Job Portal.
