About the Company Applications are invited for a suitably qualified individual to take up the position of Engineering Services Senior Support Technician at Nortech International. About the Role The main purpose of the job is to provide a technical support function to both the Operations and Sales departments, as well as providing external Customer support on existing products. This will encompass functions that ensure the smooth running of the production area by providing support when technical difficulties are encountered, alternate component sourcing, resolution to product reliability issues, etc. The job will also entail short term developments to existing products in line with customer requirements and feature enhancements. Responsibilities Customer support Technical support Production support Product testing and evaluation Technical documentation Short term developments Alternate component sourcing and evaluation Qualifications Minimum of a BTECH in Electrical Engineering L / C (or equivalent). 4‑years (ideally) work experience. Required Skills Good communication skills Good understanding of microcontroller based digital systems Good understanding of analogue components and circuits Be a logical problem solver and be able to explain problems and solutions clearly Have basic soldering skills Ability to work under pressure Be a self‑motivated and self‑disciplined worker Preferred Skills Exposure to C programming Exposure to Schematic and PCB layout / design (Altium) (EE / AA preference will be considered) #J-18808-Ljbffr
