About the Role : We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator with strong writing and editing skills. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt their tone and style to suit different types of content while effectively promoting the Club and enhancing the member experience. What You'll Be Doing : Marketing & Content CreationDevelop engaging content that aligns with the Club's brand and values.Assist with planning and executing marketing strategies to drive membership growth and increase revenue. Work closely across all departments to promote Club events and functions, including assisting HR with internal marketing. Design posters and other marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across all content. Assist in updating and coordinating the annual events calendar across all departments. Create a quarterly newsletter and weekly mailers for members, ensuring timely distribution. Draft and send email communications to members. Social Media & Website Support membership campaigns, promotions, and events through targeted marketing efforts. Regularly update the Club's website using WordPress, ensuring fresh and relevant content. Manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn accounts with engaging posts and timely updates. Conduct social media audits to improve reach, engagement, and overall performance. Use data analysis to optimise website and social media strategies. Ensure SEO best practices through effective content writing. Oversee the online booking system, reporting any issues for resolution. Maintain up-to-date member information, ensuring compliance with POPI regulations. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and bloggers to enhance the Club's brand image. Financial & Sponsorship Manage the marketing budget as set by the Finance Committee. Oversee paid social media campaigns to maximize impact. Assist in securing sponsorships and partnerships for business advertising opportunities. Irregular Duties Perform or assist with any other duty that may be delegated from time to time. What We're Looking For : 2-3 years' experience in marketing and content creation. Hospitality, Sports and Leisure industry experience is advantageous. A creative thinker with excellent attention to detail. Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects independently. High emotional intelligence to understand and engage with Club members effectively. A commitment to continuously improving communication and the member experience. Experience working with WordPress, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and associated programs. A keen interest in AI automation tools.
