Overview HR Officer – Sandton Salary : R40 000 CTC per month MUST HAVE AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in Sandton. The role requires a skilled HR professional with strong operational expertise, payroll knowledge, and the ability to drive employee engagement, compliance, and productivity within a fast-paced, multi-franchise environment. Minimum Requirements Tertiary qualification in HR or related field Minimum 3 years’ HR operational experience Payroll expertise on SAGE Strong computer literacy, including Excel (automotive systems advantageous) Proven track record in talent engagement, compliance, and HR administration Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment, job descriptions, salary benchmarking, interviews, and employee onboarding. Performance Management: Develop KPIs, monitor performance, conduct reviews, and manage underperformance. Payroll Management: Oversee payroll input, verification, reporting, statutory compliance, and MIBCO submissions. Employee Welfare: Coordinate wellness initiatives, events, and staff recognition programmes. Labour Relations: Manage disciplinary processes, absenteeism, and labour law compliance. Business Productivity & Compliance: Support operations, ensure HR systems efficiency, legislative compliance (BCEA, LRA, MIBCO), and drive policies and reporting (BBBEE, Employment Equity, Skills Development). OHS & Statutory Duties: Ensure health and safety compliance and run required committees. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, policies, and procedures.
