Business Development Representative (B2B SaaS, Email Marketing Services) TouchBasePro helps businesses grow with reliable, compliant email marketing. Location : Johannesburg, South Africa (hybrid) Package : 20k - 30k experience dependent + uncapped commission The role involves hiring a hunter who can open doors and close net-new business for TouchBasePro. You’ll build your own pipeline, run high-quality discovery, handle objections with empathy, and position our platform and services as the best option for clients who need email done right. Responsibilities Own the full cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, close, handover to Customer Success. Build a healthy weekly pipeline from self-sourced outbound across priority sectors. Translate email marketing outcomes into business value: list growth, engagement, conversions, and ROI. Position deliverability and compliance as differentiators: sender reputation, SPF / DKIM / DMARC, POPIA best practice. Multithread deals with Marketing, RevOps, eCommerce and leadership stakeholders. Maintain accurate CRM updates, forecasting, and activity discipline. Requirements 2–5+ yearsselling B2B SaaS or marketing technology, ideallyemail marketingor adjacent (marketing automation, CRM). Provennew-logotrack record with measurable results. Strong discovery and objection handling; confident demoing to non-technical and technical buyers. Clear written and verbal communication. Consistent prospecting habits and follow-through. Selling of agency services. Nice to have Sold intoMarketing, eCommerce, RevOps / Sales Ops, CRM owners, or agency channels. Familiarity with tools likeHubSpot,Salesforce,Pipedrive,Apollo,LinkedIn Sales Navigator,Calendly / Chili Piper. Working knowledge of email concepts: segmentation, automations, A / B testing, templates, deliverability, POPIA compliance. Martech solutions.
