Rigging Supervisor Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)Type: ContractorLocation: JHB - Eastern SuburbsDuties and Responsibilities: Control Rigging activities, with regards to Rigging machines, Rigging equipment and Rigging personnel to ensure successful project completion Responsibilities: Control and coordinate all allocated site Rigging activities. Deploy manpower according to the scope of work and production plan. Demonstrate knowledge of all relevant discipline specific equipment and provide proactive solutions to problems. To ensure all relevant documentation is compiled and maintained in accordance with Standard Practice. Participate in setting up and maintaining QA/QC systems, work processes and procedures. Participate in the development and review of Rigging studies. Participate in the development and review of Rigging Risk Assessments. Monitor and advise on the general safety of riggers including the awareness of health risks. Ensure the control of all rigging equipment and protective gear. Coach and mentor learners and artisans. Requirements: Certification in HIRA, RCAT, Working at heights and in confined spaces. Rigger trade test (Red Seal) and N4 in mechanical studies. 5 years working experience as a Rigger. Basic knowledge of Labour Law and OHS Regulations. Grade 12
