Payroll Administrator Seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our fast-growing team. Duties & Responsibilities As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for providing efficient data processing and administration services to ensure accurate payroll records of employees as well as to contribute to the timely and accurate payment of salaries to all staff. Your duties will also include the following: Process new employees. Employee transfers. Process terminations. Importing payroll batches for payment. Individual leave reconciliations for employees and processing of leave adjustments. Ad-hoc payroll-related duties. Preparation of manual payments excluded from the monthly pay run cycle. Preparation of monthly pay run. Provide payslips and IRP5 to employees. Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll-related matters. Administering payroll for employees. Preparing and maintaining related payroll records and reports. Reconciliation of salaries. Extracting reports from VIP. Processing various deductions for employees. Preparing manual salary adjustment payments. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum matric with mathematics and accounting. Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred, or Certificate/Diploma in accounting. Certificate in Sage VIP People. Minimum of two years Sage VIP experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs. Knowledge of Labour relations legislation, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and SARS – PAYE.
