Our client is seeking a hands‑on and reliable Shipping Manager to take ownership of their Shipping and Logistics Department and drive operational excellence. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives under pressure and can work independently while aligning with company objectives. Minimum requirements : Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field 5 years' experience in shipping and logistics management, preferably in a supervisory role Proven experience in preparing and processing all export and import documentation (EUR.1, DA, SO, Certificates of origin, customs documents, etc.) Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, trade compliance, and customs procedures Proficient in using shipping package such as Shipshape, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Must be fluent in English Valid driver's license and own reliable transport Key responsibilities : Manage the shipping and logistics department to meet company objectives Coordinate and track product shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and on‑time delivery Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to optimise transportation costs Resolve shipping discrepancies and ensure compliance with all trade regulations The successful candidate will be offered a basic salary of R plus benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
