Advisory Partner
Empowering Clients Through Strategic Financial Planning and Wealth Management

The Advisory Partner role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional who excels in relationship building, strategic financial advising, and business development. This position requires an individual skilled in guiding clients through a comprehensive range of financial solutions, fostering long-term client relationships, and managing investment portfolios effectively.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to bring financial planning and investment solutions to a broad client base, engaging both prospective and existing clients with a commitment to personalized and ethical financial advice.

Reporting Line

Reports to the Regional Head of Advisory.

Key Relationships

The Advisory Partner collaborates closely with external clients, leads, portfolio managers, investment firms, banks, and various financial bodies to build and nurture valuable professional relationships.

Qualifications
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (CFP) or equivalent.
  • A relevant B.Com degree, CA, or LLB.
  • Regulatory exams and completion of Class of Business courses.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in financial advisory or investment planning, with a proven record of client relationship management.

  • Interpersonal understanding with effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability to changing financial landscapes and client needs.

  • Deep understanding of global and domestic financial markets.
  • Proficiency in investment products, insurance, tax, estate planning, and retirement planning.
  • Awareness of economic trends and an ability to analyze their impacts on investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Building : Establish trusting relationships with new clients and maintain strong connections with existing clients.
  • Business Development : Actively seek new business opportunities and referrals, and support business inflows through client prospecting.
  • Financial Roadmap and Portfolio Management : Create tailored financial plans and oversee client portfolios to ensure goals are met, with bi-annual client meetings to discuss performance and adjustments.
  • Practice Management : Oversee business practice standards, including managing stats, inflows, compliance requirements, and internal relationships.
  • Compliance and Professional Development : Ensure clients align with industry standards, and stay updated on industry changes through training and networking.
Measures of Success
  • Contributing to business profitability through client acquisition, retention, and effective asset management.
  • Driving growth in assets under management (AUM) and net flows, with a focus on long-term client loyalty and portfolio performance.
