Key Responsibilities : Analyse financial statements, cash flows, bank statements, and management accounts to evaluate repayment capability. Conduct credit risk assessments and assign credit ratings in line with internal models and frameworks. Prepare clear, well-structured credit proposals and recommendations for approval. Evaluate collateral / security and ensure documentation meets policy and legal standards. Monitor existing clients for changes in risk profile, early warning flags, and covenants. Conduct industry, market, and competitor research to support lending decisions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and governance standards. Support senior management with insights on client risk, profitability, and deal structuring. Required Skills & Experience : Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 25 years experience in credit analysis within the banking or financial services sector. Strong understanding of financial statements, ratio analysis, and cash flow evaluation. Exposure to corporate, commercial, business, or SME lending. Working knowledge of credit risk frameworks and lending policies. Proficient in MS Excel and financial modelling.
