Group Financial Controller

Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close of ledgers for all group companies. Prepare and publish monthly financial statements by the 10th of the month for the previous month. Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and ensure these are in Sage Intacct to run monthly variance report. Compliance and Auditing: Assist in compliance audits, regulatory reporting, and coordinate auditing processes. Risk Management: Evaluate and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations. Regular conversations and weekly meetings with Sonnovate, our Invoice Finance Provider. Team Leadership: Supervise and manage the finance team (currently 4 people). Key Skills: Leadership: Develop collaborative relationships with executives and other directors to meet information needs. Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills to produce regular management reports and operate to deadlines. Technical Proficiency: Experience with accounting software, ideally Sage Intacct. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills. Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks effectively. MUST HAVE’S: A sense of urgency Sage Intacct or similar accounting software experience Held a similar role before Accurate Timely Reporting of management accounts Ability to manage others Ability to train others ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification Ability to work as part of a group #J-18808-Ljbffr
