The role requires deep hands‑on expertise with GCP services, Infrastructure as Code, automation tools, and modern cloud‑native engineering practices. You will support large‑scale deployments, ensure resilience, and contribute to ongoing cloud modernization initiatives within a fast‑paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and optimize GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Storage. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Google Deployment Manager. Build automated CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and operational efficiency. Create automated systems to manage and rotate security keys, credentials, and secrets across infra and applications. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and operational reliability. Implement best practices for cloud security, performance, monitoring, and cost optimization. Contribute to cloud migration activities and application modernization programs. Support cross‑functional teams with cloud engineering guidance, documentation, and technical leadership. Strong hands‑on experience with GCP compute, networking, serverless, containerization, and storage services. Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tooling (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitOps, etc.). Strong shell scripting or Python experience. Solid understanding of IAM, secrets management, and cloud security best practices. Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and container workloads.
