Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and a passion for working with large datasets. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on GCP Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery Knowledge of data processing architectures and ETL/ELT concepts Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP using tools such as Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, and Cloud Storage Develop data processing applications using languages such as Python, Java, or Scala Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines with other systems and applications Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational standards Optimize data processing workflows for performance, cost, and reliability Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand business requirements and develop data solutions Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues quickly Stay up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our data engineering practices Nice to Have: Experience with machine learning or data science tools such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or pandas Knowledge of data governance and security best practices Certification in Google Cloud Platform - Professional Data Engineer #J-18808-Ljbffr
