Key Responsibilities: Financial Transaction Management: Process cashbook transactions and maintain accurate records. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances. Process and verify card transactions. Follow up with cardholders on outstanding card slips. Liaise with suppliers to ensure payments for proforma invoices and quotes are completed on time. Accounts Payable Administration: Prepare and process payment vouchers accurately and efficiently. Capture supplier, municipal, and contractor invoices. Ensure timely payments and the proper filing of invoices. Maintain detailed records of accounts payable, including balance sheet tracking. Month-End Reporting: Reconcile general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy. Analyze financial data and prepare insightful reports for internal stakeholders. Financial Filing and Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial filing systems. Regularly scan and file all financial documentation to ensure efficient record-keeping. Clerical and Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the finance department as needed. Support the Finance Manager or Head of Finance with ad hoc financial and accounting tasks. Requirements: Diploma/Certificate in Finance/Bookkeeping. 2 years proven experience in a finance or accounting role. Strong understanding of financial processes and reconciliation techniques. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
