The Private Equity Data Operations Manager provides direction, supervision, instruction and oversight to the implementation of Data Operation’s Service Level Agreements and related data quality improvement measures. The Private Equity Data Operations Manager should have a good understanding of dataset policies and procedures, as well as specific areas of quality assurance. The Private Equity Data Operations Manager oversees production workloads by determining work allocation and priorities through the establishment of productivity targets specific to distinct processes. The person in this role implements best practices to improve process quality and timing while serving as the main point of contact with global peers and other key stakeholders as needed. This person coaches the Analysts and helps them develop their skills and understands that the best managers serve their teams, removing roadblocks and giving individual contributors autonomy and ownership. Your Key Responsibilities Acquire in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of dataset policies and procedures Develop and execute on a team-specific roadmap to increase the team effectiveness Impact the level of production and the team’s ability to meet quality, volume and timeliness of objectives Foster effective relationships with other areas and create strategies to enhance teamwork in order to improve overall efficiencies Assist workgroup hiring processes Assist with onboarding and training of new employees Coach, grow and develop team members Ensure assignment completion according to established priorities Communicate performance updates to peers Set clear individual goals and motivate team members to exceed expectations Your Skills And Experience University degree (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration) At least 4-5 years’ experience working within a data production environment Prior success developing and evaluating talent Experience coaching and mentoring employees Experience hiring and building high quality performing teams History of delivering projects on time and in scope Ability to guide and influence others both internally and externally Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives About MSCI MSCI is a leading provider of critical decision support tools and services for the global investment community.
