Key Responsibilities Conduct market research and analysis for each customer to identify risks and opportunities using methods such as internet, social media, industry magazines, books, and competitor insight. Identify decision makers (Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager, Occupational Hygienist, Buyer, etc.) and estimate potential business size. Perform and compile a PPE Assessment to identify customer needs, educate on PPE, and recommend suitable PPE for each application. Provide samples for trial/test and collect feedback. Enter new market territories where Select PPE is underrepresented or absent, targeting industries such as Agriculture/Food, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Medical, and assist the retail department in gaining in‑store concept business within hardware stores. Complete and submit monthly reports to the Sales Director before the last day of the month, including competitor analysis, sales growth/decline, and supporting rationale. Complete and update weekly reports to document visitation details, client feedback, and quotations submitted each week. Attend all internal and external training (including supplier‑provided courses) to stay informed on products, processes, and selling techniques. Provide training at the customer level. Achieve annually and monthly budgets agreed upon. Generate quotations, follow up on initial orders, ensure stock delivery and invoicing. Grow your region by 10% year‑on‑year. Introduce and grow product categories/brands within the Select PPE portfolio.
