Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fleet Manager. This role will work closely with our experienced Fleet Managers to gain hands‑on experience in managing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles. It is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the transportation industry and wants to gain practical experience in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist in managing the day‑to‑day operations of our fleet including vehicle maintenance scheduling and tracking Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, licensed, and insured Monitor and analyze fleet data to identify areas for improvement and cost‑saving opportunities Coordinate with drivers, mechanics, and other team members to ensure timely and efficient vehicle maintenance and repairs Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and report any issues to the Fleet Manager Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to fleet management Maintain accurate records of vehicle information, maintenance logs, and expenses Assist in managing relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost‑effective services Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in fleet management Requirements Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Strong organizational and time‑management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Must be able to work full‑time for the duration of the internship (6–12 months) Benefits Hands‑on experience in managing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles Mentorship and guidance from experienced Fleet Managers Exposure to a fast‑paced and dynamic work environment Opportunity to develop skills in fleet management, data analysis, and relationship management Competitive internship stipend Key Skills AS400, Transportation Management Systems, Microsoft Outlook, Vehicle Maintenance, Dispatching, Maintenance Management, OSHA, Maintenance, Fleet Management, Operating Systems, Leadership Experience, Logistics Employment Type Full Time Experience years Vacancy 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
