Site Manager The position is vacant at Southern Sun. The main purpose of the position is to ensure the posting of security officers, that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to, and that the client’s needs are always efficiently and professionally met. Minimum Requirements Matric certificate, PSIRA Grade A registration, and accreditation. At least 5 years of experience in the security industry / 2–3 years as a supervisor. People management experience. Administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills. Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills. Valid driver’s licence Code 8 and valid PDQ/PDP. Fluent in Afrikaans and English, and able to write. Computer literacy on Microsoft programs. Must be disciplined and able to enforce discipline. Key Performance Areas Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services and the client about security services rendered. Ensuring that the posting of security officers is done timeously. Ensuring that all security officers meet the contractual requirements stipulated by the client. Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of services. General management and supervision of security staff. Ensuring that all HR related queries are dealt with promptly. Investigating incidents and submitting relevant weekly/monthly incident reports to management. Other Personality Attributes Ability to meet strict deadlines. Friendly and polite. High methodical working methods required. Attention to detail. Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels. Ability to work without supervision and under pressure. Core Competencies Strong planning skills. Leadership skills.
