If you're precise, deadline-reliable, and love turning numbers into decisions, this is your chance to shape how we grow. you bring the numbers we bring the mission together, we turn data into decisions What You'll Do Own the month-end close (T), management accounts, and clear variance commentary. Keep the GL clean: bank, balance‑sheet, and intercompany reconciliations; tight audit trail. Run AR / AP: invoicing, credit notes, collections, supplier reconciliations, and payment runs. Drive cash discipline: Monthly & monthly cash‑flow forecasting; manage DSO / DPO. Ensure compliance: VAT, PAYE, CIT and statutory filings; coordinate external audits; maintain the fixed‑asset register. Build board packs & KPIs; partner with Commercial / Ops on pricing, billing, and contract changes. Improve systems & processes: ERP (Odoo / Xero), SOPs, and report automation. (Energy context) Revenue assurance: reconcile metering / usage to invoices; prevent revenue leakage. What We're Looking For Detail‑obsessed, structured, and calm under deadlines. Clear communicator who turns data into practical insight. Ownership mindset, high integrity, and steady follow‑through. What Sets You Apart 5–8 years in accounting / controllership (energy, utilities, trading, or project environments a plus). Degree in Accounting / Finance; CA(SA) / ACCA / CIMA / SAIPA preferred. Advanced Excel; hands‑on with ERP (Odoo / Xero). CaseWare / Power BI a plus. Proven track record delivering T closes, clean reconciliations, and on‑time filings / audits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
