Overview Sales Co (External Applications Only- Seshego) role at Cashbuild. Join to apply for the Sales Co position. Responsibilities Grow sales through constant customer interaction; cost of building plans and issuing customers with accurate quotations. Maintain housekeeping and merchandising standards at all times; ensure a cost effective and efficient delivery service. Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales; manage the quotation process and control special orders; read building plans to ensure quotations are correct and within the agreed timeframe. Manage telephone communications: answer, return calls, and perform follow ups; conduct competitor analysis to ensure store competitiveness. Communicate bulk deposit transfers to customers; promote loyalty programs (VIC and Charge Card Customers). Deliveries: manage an efficient delivery service and ensure correct rates; ensure deliveries are dispatched within the required time; handle delayed deliveries with customers and arrange appropriate solutions. Customer service: provide effective customer service desk management; record, follow up, and resolve customer complaints; ensure customers are attended to at all times; maintain telephone etiquette. Store standards: manage Ready for Business checklists and processes; implement price changes as advertised; implement planograms. People management: ensure team members (General Assistants, Sales Advisors, Forklift Drivers) are present, trained backups are available, and daily duties are executed. Safety (OHSA) requirements: ensure safety standards are followed and protective clothing and equipment are used correctly. Security awareness: be aware of suspicious persons or activities; maintain password security. Qualifications and Skills Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience or a minimum of 10 years’ work related experience. Plan reading experience would be advantageous. Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language. Above average numeric skills; proven ability to provide exceptional customer service; proven ability to work under pressure; computer literacy; strong organising, planning and delegation skills.
