Tax Clerk (Knysna)Company Overview: Our client, a medium-sized accounting firm in Knysna, serves a diverse range of clients, offering comprehensive financial services. The ideal candidate will work closely with the tax team under the guidance of the tax manager and tax administrator.Experience/Qualifications:•Matric certificate with accounting •Accounting or tax qualification is beneficial •Experience in tax and accounting is advantageousResponsibilities:•Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts•Assist with tax administration•Prepare tax calculations•Prepare VAT and EMP201 returns•Provide assistance with SARS objections, disputes, and verifications•Handle Tax Clearance applications•Follow up with SARS and attend SARS appointments•Deal with clients and address client queriesPreferred Skills:•Strong interpersonal skills•Effective communication skills•Proficient administrative skills•Team player mentality•Detail oriented •Strong numeracy skills•Effective time management skills•Consistently adhere to timelinesTo start end of January 2025.Salary depending on experience (R10 000 – R16 000 p.m.)This would ideally suit a candidate from the Knysna area or someone already in the process of relocating to this area.Should you have the above qualifications / skills, please forward a detailed CV and supportive documentation directly to Garden Route Recruitment Solutions
