An established financial services institution is seeking a Group Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month contract. This role will be responsible for management reporting, financial analysis, and supporting key business decisions through accurate, timely insights. It's a great opportunity for a hands-on accountant who can work independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys improving systems and processes.What you'll be doing:Review monthly accounting entries and reconciliationsPrepare and analyse management reportsSupport budgeting and forecasting cyclesEnsure all control accounts, balance sheets, and income statements are reconciled monthlyAssist Regional Managers with financial information and reportingLiaise with internal and external auditorsResolve reconciling and long-outstanding balance sheet itemsDrive process, systems, and internal control improvementsProvide ad hoc financial analysis and support as neededAssist with B-BBEE reporting and complianceWhat we're looking for:BCom Accounting (Honours or CIMA preferred)CA(SA) or CIMA qualification advantageous3-5 years' relevant experience in financial services or insuranceStrong IFRS and technical accounting knowledgeAdvanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)Experience with MS Dynamics / Great Plains / Business Central advantageousDeadline-driven, analytical, and solutions-oriented with excellent communication skillsWhy join this team?You'll work within a collaborative, performance-driven environment where your input is valued and you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting across the group.
