A Millwright is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the plant’s production machinery.Requirements:Completion of a 1- 3- years apprenticeshipProven experience of 2 years in the positionWorking knowledge of technical and peripheral devicesProgrammable Logic Controller experienceMechanical and Electrical KnowledgeAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsReading and Interpreting electrical and mechanical technical diagrams, electrical circuit diagramsMinimum Qualifications - Technical diploma (N 3 -5) - Trade test certificate - PLCMust be a Trade tested Millwright Experience:Inspecting electrical componentsFault Finding (Identifying electrical problems with a variety of testing devices)Assembling and reassembling of equipment for repairsAssisting in preventative and breakdown maintenanceInspection and planned work as per job cardAssisting in assembling and installing conveyors, motors, power inventor and load reactorsUnderstanding technical jargon on heavy equipment/machines knowledge and use of gearboxes, screws and technical equipmentAssembling machinery and bolts, welds, rivets and fastening them on foundation or other structures using hand and power toolsPanel inspectionGenerating electrical/mechanical design documentsExcellent written and verbal communication Please consider your application unsuccessful if you have not received a response within 2 weeks
