Duties (not an exhaustive list):
- Ensuring the safety of the children by checking playground equipment and toys
- Ensuring children play safely
- Engage with parents and address concerns in the Manager’s absence
- Take initiative and act decisively
- Help to maintain a neat and organised Aftercare area
- Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times
- Filing and documentation for accurate records keeping
- Attending to children who are not well or injured
Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- Minimum of 3 years experience in dealing with children
- Current First Aid Certificate is an advantage.
- Working hours to be confirmed with your Line Manager will be from 12h00 – 18h00, Aftercare will run from approximately 12h00 – 18h00 each day. Hours and expectations may differ slightly during school holidays.
