Job Description:

The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial processing and reporting, working under the guidance of the Group Accountant.

Location: Montague Gardens, Cape Town

Responsibilities:

Journal processing for accurate general ledger entries
Cashbook processing, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
Reconciling petty cash and credit card statements
Intercompany loan accounts reconciliation
Preparation and submission of statutory returns (VAT201, EMP201)
Payroll processing and related administrative duties
Ad hoc administrative support as required

Qualifications & Requirements:
Matric Certificate (Essential)
Accounting Training (Formal qualification in accounting or related field)
Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Clear credit & criminal check

Personal Attributes:
Strong attention to detail
Organized and methodical
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
