Lobby & Public Area PresenceBe a constant, welcoming presence in the lobby and public areas, ensuring cleanliness, music, ambience, and overall presentation are at their best. VIP & Group CoordinationPersonally welcome VIPs, groups, and crew arrivals with tailored check-ins, room allocations, and thoughtful touches such as room drops and turndowns. Guest Profiling & CommunicationManage guest profiles, pre-arrival WhatsApp communication, and departure follow-ups. Ensure information is updated for future stays and shared across departments. Requests & Complaints ManagementRespond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and special requirements, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Travel Desk LiaisonCoordinate with travel partners to curate, plan, and book tours, transfers, and Cape Town experiences. Maintain accurate daily records and service provider relationships. Operational SupportAssist with Opera system functions including check-ins, check-outs, reports, and room allocations. Maintain clear handovers and communication with the Guest Experience Manager and fellow team members.Requirements Matric certificate (Grade 12); hospitality qualification or diploma advantageous Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a guest-facing hospitality role Proficiency in Opera or similar PMS systems Strong knowledge of Cape Town and Western Cape attractions, tours, and experiences Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Professional, flexible, and detail-oriented Must hold a valid South African IDKey Competencies Guest-Centric Mindset - Passion for creating memorable, tailored guest experiences.
