Job Description

Your duties will encompass:

  • Full function bookkeeping.
  • Efficiently manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing.
  • Accounts payable principles, electronic banking and balancing of accounts.
  • Customer invoicing.
  • VAT processing.
  • Maintenance of filing system.
  • Assistance to Financial Manager, including but not limited to:
  • Monthly reconciliations.
  • Statutory submissions.
  • Year-end audits.
  • Budget preparation.
  • Asset register maintenance.
  • Owning the onboarding process for new employees (including the set-up of employment benefits).
  • Improve the financial controls within the organization.
  • Directing the preparation of financial reports summarizing and estimating the organizations financial position such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income.
Qualifications
  • Matric.
  • Accounting diploma or degree.
Skills
  • 5 years'' experience in Bookkeeping.
  • Mining, Engineering and Construction industries.
  • Experience in Pastel Partner / SAGE Accounting and Microsoft Office products.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / teamwork.
