Our client, a leading electrical contracting company based in Durban, is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Site Agent to oversee commercial electrical installations across multiple sites in the city and surrounding areas. The role involves managing site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating teams for projects in buildings, hospitals, and shopping centers.Minimum Requirements:Qualified Electrician with a valid Trade Test CertificateOHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Certification8–10+ years’ experience in the electrical industryExtensive experience in commercial installations, including buildings, hospitals, and shopping centersFluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)Willingness and ability to travel regularly to various sitesSkills Required:Strong site management and project coordination skillsProven ability to supervise and lead teams on multiple sitesKnowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirementsExperience with progress reporting, scheduling, and quality controlExcellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, for reporting and trackingStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skillsAbility to manage budgets, materials, and subcontractors efficientlyKey Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day site operations for electrical installations in commercial projectsSupervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliersEnsure compliance with all OHS regulations and company safety standardsMonitor project progress, budgets, and quality standardsPrepare reports, maintain documentation, and liaise with clients and stakeholdersIdentify risks and implement solutions to ensure project deadlines are metRemuneration:R 20 000 - 35 000 Cost to CompanyIMPORTANT:Applications close 31 October 2025Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be consideredOnly candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
