Detailed description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
- Design, implement and assist with maintaining and continuously improving forensic audit tools to ensure a structured forensic auditing approach within the SARB Group.
- Conduct forensic audits based on the audit universe to identify non-compliance or deviations from existing Bank-wide policies and procedures.
- Conduct forensic investigations by gathering, analysing and preparing evidence in a manner suitable for further action.
- Perform fraud risk assessments to identify high-risk fraud exposure within the SARB Group.
- Provide quality reports and recommendations on gaps in GRC.
- Develop and implement fraud awareness initiatives and training within the SARB Group.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:
- a minimum of an Honours degree or NQF 8 qualification relating, Forensic Auditing, Accounting, Risk Management, or an equivalent qualification;
- a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification; and or Chartered Accountant (CA);
- a minimum of five to seven years’ experience within a forensic auditing environment.
