Operational Technology Project Coordinator

A project coordinator (minimum 3 years experience) is a member of Geology, Mine Planning and Mining Technology portfolio team who runs small-medium sized projects, tasks by overseeing or completing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring execution as agreed with Senior Manager.
The project coordinator will coordinate the schedule, budget, issues and risks of the project. This includes the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This will include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Setting up work packages for projects and business as usual activities and updating the timelines.
- Following up with business on the business requirements gathering for opportunities, and assistance with entering these and following up their statuses with the EA team
- Setting up NDAs for vendors with Commercial
- Scheduling and coordinating vendor meetings
- Following up PRs, POs, invoices and ensuring these are processed on time
- Actioning Sysaid requests
- Actioning any other non-technical tasks
- Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks
- Support team members when implementing risk management strategies
Desired Project Coordinator Skills:
- Must have strong multi-disciplinary stakeholder communication skills

- Problem-solving skills
- Change management skills
- Excellent time management skills and able to manage multiple steams of work
Project Coordinator Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree \ Diploma in business administration, management or a related field
- Project Management Courses
- Working knowledge of project management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
