An established and cutting-edge digital Dental Laboratory in Blackheath, Johannesburg, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join their team. This position is ideal for a technician who is passionate about full-arch digital dentistry and experienced in designing complex treatment plans using leading CAD/CAM software.The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess a strong understanding of dental anatomy, implant-supported prosthetics, aligners, retainers, as well as the digital workflow from scan to final restoration and manufacture.Key Responsibilities:Design a wide range of restorations including full-arch prosthetics (FP1/FP3), All-on-X, implant restorations, crowns, bridges, and veneers using 3Shape, Exocad, or similar platformsAnalyse intraoral scans, DICOM data, and clinical prescriptions with precisionLead and support full-arch digital workflows, from virtual design to manufactured appliances, including wax-up, smile design, implant positioning, and surgical guide planningCollaborate with clinicians and internal teams to deliver high-quality, aesthetic, and functional outcomesDocument and manage digital case files, revisions, and communication throughout the workflowMinimum Requirements:5+ years’ CAD/CAM dental design experience, with a strong portfolio of implant and full-arch casesAdvanced knowledge of occlusion, dental anatomy, and restorative materialsStrong preference for candidates with experience in aligner and retainer design, All-on-X, and complex full-arch workflowsProficiency in digital treatment planning with strong visual-spatial and aesthetic design skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities within a fast-paced environmentProficiency in 3D printing and related workflowsValid SADTC registration as a Dental TechnicianOwn transport essentialWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00Salary: R25 000 – R45 000 dependent on experience Interested and experienced Dental Technicians are welcome to apply with their updated CV online.
