IT Support & Infrastructure Technician (L1) – Automotive Industry | Goodwood, Cape Town(Hardware, Software & SQL) – Automotive Sector - IT All-Rounder | Microsoft & SQL Environment JOB OVERVIEW / ROLE PURPOSESupport of users, New & Current Established Systems:Vision, Back-up, Workstations, Basic network, Printing and Microsoft Applications.Multiple Site Support of IT hardware infrastructure:Cape Town Distribution Centre, andCape Branch Offices Performs the following daily: IT Hardware and Software Support Assist Operational Team with WMS, Office 365, Antivirus and Windows Support at Head OfficeAssist operational team in the branch office s with:POS and Back Office (Vision Pro, Antivirus, Backup and Windows) support.Update and Maintain Asset Register and user configuration on windows, Office365, POS, Uniclox.Deploy and document group wide Firewall Configuration Setup for branches Must have:Valid Drivers ‘licenceOw VehicleClear ITC records (No Defaults, Judgements or Debt Review) MINIMUM REUIREMENTSQualifications:Matric with MathematicsInformation Technology DegreeMicrosoft Certification (advantageous)Security Certification (advantageous) Experience:More than 2+ years' experience with configuring and setting up IT of systems.IT ALL ROUNDER: Technical knowledge and experience of:Hardware and Software Deployment,Troubleshooting & Problem solvingExcellent Troubleshooting skills with rapid resolutionMust have a good understanding & Handson experience of IT Infrastructure:Microsoft Infrastructures Microsoft applications and SQL DB (MS SQL Databases)IT Security (FW, IPS, EPS) in line with CIS controlsICT Infrastructure MonitoringFirewall Configuration Setup Ability to take ownership of an ICT problem or project from beginning to completion.Knowledge of ISO policies relating to network and security.Strong analytical skills for Information processing. Technical CompetenciesL1 LAN Network (Basic)L1 Wireless Network (Basic)L1 WAN Network (Basic)L1 Phones & Printers (Basic)L1 Remote support (Basic)L1 Office 365 (Basic)L1 Active Directory (Basic)L1 Microsoft infrastructure skills (Basic)L1 Hardware & Software maintenance (Basic).SAP Business 1 ( one) (highly advantageous)Good understanding of Microsoft EnvironmentClient interaction experienceDesktop SupportBasic Endpoint Security
