As part of the Data Processing team, youll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust SQL code, stored procedures, and ETL processes that directly support the companys operational and strategic initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for Developers who are analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment that values excellence and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimise SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) processes.Test, deploy, and implement SQL-based solutions to meet business requirements with minimal errors.Research and recommend improvements to database systems and automation processes.Document all SQL processes and ensure that accurate change control procedures are followed.(Senior level) Provide input to Business Analysts on technical feasibility and mentor junior team members.Job Experience and Skills Required:Education:Grade 12 (Matric) essential.Microsoft SQL Server Certification or higher.Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous.Experience:Intermediate: 35 years SQL development experience.Senior: 58+ years SQL development experience.Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 20082017.Strong proficiency in SQL programming and T-SQL.Experience with SSRS (required) and SSIS (Senior requirement).Proven ability to create and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, cursors, and functions.Understanding of FTP/sFTP/FTPs (Senior requirement).Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent planning and prioritisation abilities.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Team player with mentoring capability (Senior).Results-driven and resilient.Apply nowIf youre ready to advance your SQL development career in a supportive and forward-thinking organisation, dont miss this opportunityFor more exciting IT
