Bearing in mind the growing and moving environment, the key tasks and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to following:

ACCOUNTING INTEGRITY OF THE CLUSTER:

  • Implement consistent checks on the accounting processes in the cluster review of provisions.
  • Be a whistle-blower on non-compliant processes analyse balance sheet risks. o Reviewing operational data and maintaining data accuracy and integrity
  • Preventing errors by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting.

MONTH-END REPORTING TO HEAD OFFICE

  • Ensure timeliness of the reporting
  • Report on P&L, Analytical split, intra-group and Balance Sheet

MONTH-END REPORTING P&L TO OPERATIONS AND COUNTRY MANAGERS

  • Send reporting to operations and country manager along with analysis.
  • Be the go between operations and accounting and answer operations questions.
  • Suggest, implement and follow-up processes

MAGNITUDE

  • Assisting actively in completing Magnitude reports Bi-Annual reports to head office in accordance with strict consolidation rules

PFA / BUDGET

  • Provide assistance in preparing the budget forecasts requested by head-office.
  • Analysis of results and challenge operations and accounting on their input
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Management Accounting or Accounting completed.
  • CIMA being completed - 2 nd, 3rd year.
  • At least a first significant experience required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel - complex functions, graphs and pivot charts
  • Proactive and organized
  • Capacity to deliver under pressure
  • Able to challenge the status quo and drive through changes
